Ed Mahone vs. Steve Pannell
Ed will be making his fourth NABO title defense against veteran boxer Pannell. Mahone is
an up and coming boxer who is not well known, but I've had my eye on this guy for a couple
years now. With a record of 19-0-2, ALL wins by knockout, Mahone is a powerful and
exciting boxer to watch. Pannell will be his most seasoned foe to date, who's losses have
mostly came from ranked boxers like WBC #1 John Ruiz and IBF #3 Hassim Rahman.
Expect yet another exciting KO by Mahone.

Israel Vazquez vs. Nestor Lopez
These two flyweights are squarring off for the vacant NABO Flyweight Championship.
Vazquez is another up and comer, and this his first shot at a title. Lopez has
experience against more seasoned fighters like Kennedy McKinney (lost by split dec.) and
Paulie Ayala (lost by unanimous dec), but it's Israels time in the limelight.
Both have exciting offense oriented styles, and little defense, but heart will prove
to be the winning factor.

Tim Austin vs. Sergio Aguila
This will be Austins 3rd title defense of his IBF Bantamweight crown since winning it by
stopping Mbulelo Botile in July 97. After getting his jaw broke early in the fight, he
went several more rounds to stop Botile!!! Tim has an 18-0-1 record with 17 KO's.
This is Sergio's first shot at a title. Until his last fight, in which he fought to
a draw, he was on a 14 fight winning streak dating back to 95. Most his fights have been
in Mexico, and doesn't have the international experience Austin has.

Jorge Eliecer vs. Julio Gamboa
Also, this is Jorge's third title defense of his WBO Bantamweight title he won by a
12-round decision over Oscar Maldonado in July 97. He was the WBA champ until losing his
title to Junior Jones (his only loss) in 92. Since that loss, he has won 14 straight bouts
including the title. Jorge has an impressive 40-1 record with 30 KO's.
Julio is a formidable foe, who is campaigning a second time for a world title. His
last bout back in July 98 ended in a 12 round decision loss. He sports a record of 23-3,
14 KO's.
This a tough on to call, but I beleive Jorge has the edge in both experience and
power. This will be the most exciting of all the boughts tonight.
